I am sorry for saying the words
that I never should have...
I didn't mean them.

I am sorry for making you feel
the way that you do...
I never meant it to hurt.

I am sorry for the ways
that we both felt...
I didn't mean to not understand.

I am sorry for thinking
in a way of such hurt as I did...
I never wanted those thoughts.
