Bashigram Lake - Swat Pakistan - Beautiful Lakes In Pak

The stream that comes out of this lake is called Bashigram Khwarr which is a clear and greenish water source for the Chail Khwarr.
Location of Bashigram Lake
It is located to the east of Bashigram Valley at the elevation (height) of 11,500 feet above Sea Level. Bashigram valley is an adjacent valley to Madyan Valley Swat. The landscapes of the valley are panoramic and spellbinding. The lake is located almost on the border of Swat and Shangla districts.
How to Reach Bashigram Lake
Bashigram Valley can be accessed via Jeep road from Madyan Bazar. On this route, the trout fishery market of Chail is also located. There is a 6-7 KM distance from Madyan to Bashgram village. One can stay in Bashigram Camping Pods by the government of KPK in the valley. The Trek to Lake starts from Kas village of the Valley. Then the trekker ascends through Kafir Banda, Deenai Banda and Dand Banda.
It is about 6-8 hours trek to the Lake depending on the stamina of the trekker as well as weather
One can also hire a guide from Kas Village or Bishgram Valley who will take you to the Lake.
Trek from Shangla and Miandam
The lake can also trekked from Maindam and Shangla district. The trek in Shangla starts from Alpuri Valley. There is trout hatchery in alpuri valley, From there, on way to Lilonai Village the lake is located.
The Lake is incredibly appealing with its Emerald colored water for the trekker to enjoy the serenity of the site. The path to the lake is itself mesmerizing and unforgettable expertise. On the trek, one comes across tall cone trees, thick forests, immense greenery, multi-colored flowers, and crystal clear springs and streams of varied natures. The people of the valley are very hospitable and love to entertain tourists.
