Swat Valley is full of waterfalls located in different Valleys and of different heights. One of them Donchar Waterfall ( ڈونچار آبشار ) is one of the Highest and Mighty waterfalls in Swat as well as Pakistan. The height of the Waterfall is more than 300ft.
Some places in this world are so wonderfully and spectacularly designed by Allah that one finds it very difficult to describe the beauty of those places in words. This Waterfall is one of those Places. Very unknown to tourists and away from Hustle and crowded places, Waterfall provides a pleasant feeling to the traveler.

Donachar Waterfall is located in the north from Mahodand Lake at a distance of approx 8 kilometers.

How to Reach Donchar Waterfall
To Access Donchar Waterfall, you have to reach Mahodand Lake First.
From Mahodand Lake, the 8KM trek starts to Donchar Waterfall.
From Mahodand Lake, you will start your journey via Saifullah lake and then Nasrullah Lake. You can also come on your 4×4 vehicle till Nasrullah Lake. The rocky road ends there and you start your trek towards Waterfall.
From Mahodand Lake, it is approx 2 hours moderate trek to Donchar Waterfall.
The Trek to Waterfall is full of amazing views of snow-capped mountains in the surrounding, flowing streams, Saifullah and Nasrullah lakes on the way, and several small waterfalls. One’s heart and mind feel so relaxing by its natural scenic beauty and fresh air.
Note: There are no camps on rent or food available at Dhonchar Waterfall. One has to take his own necessary things including food from Mahodand Lake or Kalaam.
