arogo Waterfall also known as (جاروگو آبشار ) is One of the Highest Waterfalls in Pakistan. The height of Jarogo Waterfall is approx 300-400 Ft. The water falling down covers more than 120 meters area giving travelers an amazing experience. Jarogo Waterfall has located at the end Chatekal valley of Tehsil Matta Swat surrounded by thick forest and Huge mountains. It is located 53 KMs distance from Mingora and 30 KMs from Matta Tehsil.

How to Reach Jarogo Waterfall :
Jarogo Waterfall is 30-90 minutes Hike from the Jarogo Valley. Jarogo Valley can be accessed by Local transports as well as on your own vehicle.
If you are going through Local Transport then you have to take the plain coach from Mingora to Matta. And then take another van from Matta, which will lead you to Beha as shown in the above map. If it is hard for you to find a ride to Beha, you can also ride to Gwalerai. Gwalerai is an area just 3km down from Beha and has a slightly large bus stand.
From Beha, it is a bit difficult for your own vehicle or local transport to take you to the start of the hiking point because of the rough road. You can hire a car ( 4 wheel vehicle ) to reach your destination. Or if you are solo travelers you can hop into the trucks or small vans taking goods at relatively less price then hiring a private vehicle.
From Beha, it will be approx one hour to 90 minutes drive depending on the traffic and road condition. And then you will reach the point where you can start your hike.
Hike Towards Jarogo Waterfall :
One can find the trail to waterfall through colorful flags and small open-air restaurants. That Place is suitable for camping as well. Turning left from the restaurant the path will lead you to the trail along the stream of water. The Trek to the waterfall is full of adventure, crystal clear water flowing through the streams and chirping of birds in the pine forest give the hiker a pleasant vibe.
Going along the stream as your guide to waterfall, there are several time when you have to jump through water so Waterproof joggers are recommended for this hike or be prepared to get your shoes wet.
It takes 30-90 minutes to reach the destination depending on the stamina of the hiker as well as the weather but the sight of Jarogo Waterfall is all worth it.
Jarogo Meadows
If you plan to stay overnight, the camping at Jarogo meadows is the best option. That lush green beautiful meadows can b accessed through the way leading on the right side of the waterfall. it is 30 minutes hard track from waterfall to Jargo meadows.
