38. Kaas Plateau, Maharashtra – A Flowery Experience
This plateau is also famous by the name Kaas Pathar. Kaas Plateau is located at a distance of 25 kilometers from the city of Satara. The plateau is a part of Sahyadri Sub Cluster in the Western Ghats and has been recorded as one of the UNESCO World Natural Heritage Sites in the year 2012. It has been established at a height of 1200 meters. On your visit to this plateau, you’ll get a chance to witness above 850 species of flowers – clearly, it is one of the most beautiful places in India.
