Also known by the name Lonar Lake, Lonar Crater is one of the most visited sites in the Buldhana district of Maharashtra. This tourist attraction is quite a prominent National Geo-heritage Monument and its formation happened due to the collision of an asteroid in the Pleistocene Epoch. The lake goes as deep as 150 meters and as long as 1830 meters.
