Mankyal is a valley located at a distance of 77 Kilometres from Mingora in the northern upper Reaches of Swat Valley.
The distance of Mankyal Valley from Bahrain Valley is just 18 Kilometres on the paved Kalam road along the flowing Swat River with stunning views.

Places to Visit in Mankyal Valley
Mankyal Valley has many villages and adjacent valley with beautiful lush green pastures and huge mountains.
Badai ( بڈئی ), Serai ( سیرئی ) and Mankyal are famous as well as scenic villages of this valley. And the people of these villages are very hospitable and loving.
Mankyal Valley is known for its Lush Green Meadows. On one side of Mankyal Valley, there is a Heaven like JABBA MEADOWS. And on the Other Side, there is CHUKAIL MEADOWS, a hidden jewel of Swat Valley.
Mankyal Valley also offers you the SCENIC VIEWS of Mount Mankial Sarr, Mount Tikka Sarr, and many others.
Trek to Jabba Meadows
From Badai Village of Mankyal Valley, the jeepable road takes you to the starting point of the trek to Jabba Meadows. From there, the trek of 3-4 Hours leads you to the lush green meadows known as Jabba Meadows.
45 minutes Trek from Jabba takes you to anothet Meadow known as Darar. There are also famous places like Shah Noor , Taib and few more. You can ask locals about them.
Trek to Chukail Banda
The Trek to Chukail Banda starts from the Serai village of Mankyal. Approx 3-hour steep trek from Serai village takes you to Chukail Meadows.
In Summers, the locals move to Chukail Banda for grazing their herds at Banda. If you reach there by that time, you will find a beautiful view of lush green pasture and animals grazing here and there

There are few hotels in Mankyal Valley but if you are planning to stay a night at Jabba or Chukail Meadow then you have to take your own camp and own food.
