The White Palace is a masterpiece of architecture. A palace built by white marbles in 1940 by Wali of Swat Miangul Abdul Wadood also known as Badshah Sahib.

It is known as “White Palace” Because of the White Marble used to build the Palace, the same marble which was used to build the Taj Mehal India,. The marble was brought by the Wali Swat himself from India. It was given name as Swati Taj Mahal when the Palace was built in 1940. Later referred to as Moti Mahal however presently, Sufaid Mahal.

Queen Elizabeth II stayed in White Palace Swat on her visit to Swat valley in 1961 for 3 days.
